Coffee History
Founded by growers in 1927, the Federación Nacional de Cafeteros marked an important milestone in Colombia's coffee sector. Regional producer networks and national identity developed together.
Regional Identity
Huila grows Arabica varieties including Castillo, Colombia, Caturra, Typica, Bourbon and Tabí. Cauca's geography and regional cup descriptions form a distinct origin identity.
Commercial grades such as Supremo are separate from regional names. Even for a product named Huila, crop, screen and grade must be read from the selected lot.
