Scope

This policy covers interactions through the Gerarco website, account area and GerarcoAPP. Controller and contact details appear below. The Privacy Notice describes the legal framework for processing personal data.

What Information Is Used?

Depending on the interaction, data may include contact names and details, company and tax details, addresses, bank accounts, profile images, lots, uploaded files, quotes, proformas, container applications and notification preferences. Company information linked to an individual may also be personal data.

Session, security and transaction records may be processed, including IP address, device and browser information where necessary. Devices that enable push notifications have a delivery endpoint and technical subscription keys recorded. Passwords are not stored in a recoverable form.

Visibility and Sharing

Published lot details, images and public documents can be viewed by visitors and indexed by search engines. Avoid uploading unnecessary personal data or confidential business documents. Recording bank or contact details in an account does not make them publicly available.

Information needed for an interaction may be shared on a limited basis with authorized staff, technical providers and, where required, logistics, accounting, banking and legal service providers. Information is not sold as independent advertising lists.

Notifications and External Channels

Manage new-lot, price bulletin and marketing preferences in your profile, and device notifications through GerarcoAPP and browser settings. Opening WhatsApp or another external link takes you to that provider’s service. Notification permission is not unlimited permission for every communication channel.

Retention and Security

Records are retained for the period necessary for their purpose, the account relationship, legal duties and protection of rights. Closing an account does not simultaneously erase commercial or legal records that must be retained. Deletion, destruction or anonymization applies when retention or processing grounds end.
