Coffee History
The establishment of Kenya's coffee auction in 1934 and its tasting unit in 1935 were important milestones in the country's coffee trade and evaluation system.
Grade and Region
Arabica dominates Kenyan production, with small quantities of Robusta also grown. Separating a regional name such as Nyeri from an AA grade prevents confusion between origin identity and physical classification.
