How to Read a Lot
A guide to assessing product identity, lot code, crop, quantity and delivery terms together.
Product and Lot
A product page brings together origin, processing and expected cup profile. Lots of the same product can differ in crop, screen, grade, quantity, packaging and price.
In a code such as BR-A-261002, BR identifies the country, A indicates Arabica, 26 is the registration year and the remaining digits are the lot sequence. Registration year is not crop year.
Quantity and Purchasing
Total quantity, minimum order and bag weight are separate facts. The minimum may be two bags; further increases follow the lot's order increment. With 60 kg bags and a 1,020 kg minimum, the order starts at 17 bags; the next quantity is 1,080 kg.
Both in-stock and in-transit lots can receive requests. The date shown for a lot in transit is its estimated arrival in Turkey, not delivery to the buyer's address.
Teslim ve Toplam Maliyet
Location identifies where the goods are or will arrive. Delivery terms define the delivery arrangement and allocation of costs. Warehouse pickup and delivery to an address are different terms.
Unit price is assessed against the selected quantity. Product VAT and the cost and VAT of optional roasting appear separately in the request summary.
