Frequently Asked Questions
Who sets the lot price?
The supplier sets the lot price and any quantity tiers. The Gerarco service fee is calculated according to the selected pricing method; buyers see the applicable selling price.
Do lot updates need approval again?
You can update your own lots. Changes affecting publication are reviewed according to your account permissions. Only Gerarco assigns the Gerarco Approved mark; changed information may require a new check.
How long is a proforma valid?
A proforma is valid for 3 days. The exact expiry date is shown on the document. Creating one does not reserve stock; commercial terms are confirmed before payment.
What does Gerarco Approved cover?
Gerarco physically examines the coffee or a sample, checks screen, moisture, water activity, grade, defects and density, and photographs the coffee and packaging. Approval relates to the accuracy of these lot details.
How much coffee can I buy at minimum?
Minimum quantities vary by lot. Quantity selection starts at the minimum and increases by that lot’s order step. Package weight, minimum order and total stock are separate values.
Does buying more reduce the price?
Yes, where the lot has quantity tiers. Increasing quantity updates the applicable unit price and total together. Lower-price tiers unreachable with available stock are not displayed.
What is added to the displayed price?
Product VAT and selected extras such as roasting appear separately in the quote summary. Freight depends on the lot’s delivery conditions. The final amount is confirmed before payment.
Does a quote or proforma reserve the coffee?
No. A request does not reserve stock. Gerarco confirms availability and conditions before proceeding to payment.
Can I request an in-transit lot?
Yes. You can request quantities from in-transit lots. The displayed month is estimated arrival in Türkiye, not delivery to you.
Is freight included?
It depends on the lot. Lot details state depot or address delivery and who bears freight cost.
Can I receive the coffee roasted?
You can select optional Neroya roasting for green coffee bought through Gerarco. Profile, roasting fee and estimated output are calculated in the quote area. Standalone roasting is not offered.
Can I buy a lot without Gerarco Approved?
Yes. The mark indicates physical inspection of the product or sample by Gerarco, including screen, moisture, water activity, grade, defects and density checks and photos of the product and packaging. Its absence does not automatically mean a lot is low quality or unavailable for purchase.
What if the delivered coffee differs from the lot details?
Contact Gerarco with the lot code, proforma or invoice and photos showing the issue. Gerarco manages review and resolution. You can also report page-data errors through the report icon.
How do I add my own lots?
Create an account and add a lot under My Lots, or use Import Lots. Publication normally requires Gerarco review; direct publishing permission is granted separately.
How is the service fee calculated?
The current rate and any minimum service fee appear during lot entry. You can deduct the fee from your price or add it on top. Each tier shows the sale price and your net unit amount.
I sold my coffee elsewhere. What should I do?
Reduce stock from My Lots. Pause the lot if no orderable quantity remains. Outdated stock makes new requests harder to fulfil.
What if I cannot find the coffee I need?
Use Create Buying Request to describe the coffee, requirements and quantity. Gerarco reviews the request and may contact you when a suitable supply option becomes available.
Is a container application a confirmed purchase?
No. You apply according to the plan’s minimum and order-step conditions. Participation, price and delivery are finalized separately.
Do GerarcoAPP and notifications require an account?
No. Choose topics and frequency and enable device notifications in GerarcoAPP. Account holders can also manage preferences from their profile. Installation and permission steps vary by device and browser.
